Delta Push Travel Beam Trolley Basics

This type of beam attachment is manual and requires physical pushing for it to be moved along the beam. This is typically done using the bottom block of the attached hoist to move the trolley along.

The simple nature of this type of beam trolley means there is little maintenance and not much to go wrong unlike geared or powered trolleys.

The trolley can be pushed across the beam to the position where you need to handle your load.

Delta Push Trolley Features

The central screw pin is probably the most important part on these push travel trolleys. This is because they not only screw in and out to move the sides with wheels so that it can be fitted correctly to the beam it also incorporated the central anchor point or loading eye from which to hand your hoist from.

A key benefit to the Delta beam trolley is the anti-tilt mechanism which eliminated the possibility of tilting and/or slipping off the beam when utilised correctly.

The wheels are made from steel and contain lubricated ball bearings for smooth travel. Wheel sizes vary across the model range – see the specifications above for all the details.
